Figaro hails from a fantasy world inhabited by humans and wizards, who have a complex and not always friendly working relationship. Every year 20 chosen wizards come together to fight back the Great Calamity alongside the Sage to save the world from its imminent destruction. Last year’s battle didn’t go so hot, and tensions between humans and wizards are at an all time high, along with the scars of the battle awakening long slumbering magic throughout the land that the chosen wizards now have to work overtime to fix.

Figaro is a gregarious wizard who acts as a doctor for a small town. Hailing from the Southern country, he takes on the traits classically associated with wizards who reside in that part of the world, having a congenial personality and fairly low threshold for power as far as ability goes. Despite being mentor to two younger wizards, Figaro enjoys a good drink and good company in his downtime, and ends up being looked after by his charges more often than not. In actuality this is a ruse to hide his true birthplace and nature, allowing him to live peacefully among the humans he admires and avoid some of the less savory parts of his past. His feigned ineptitude is entirely done for attention.

Figaro is a moderately experienced wizard, competent with most common spells, specializing in healing magic. He’s Very high up on the power tier rankings in his canon and can do all sorts of magic. His specialty is thought manipulation/mind control.
